Education + Experience
Jenna's early life was marked by a natural inclination towards an active lifestyle, tracing its roots back to watching her father lift weights and engaging in frequent sports, hiking, and camping. This foundation in health and fitness later evolved into a professional calling after witnessing her grandmother's stroke recovery, inspiring her to pursue physical therapy. She earned her certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) through Kent State and has dedicated the last 11 years to working as a PRN PTA in a skilled nursing facility, where she helps patients of various ages regain their health and independence.
Complementing her career in physical therapy, Jenna also embraced competitive bodybuilding, beginning in 2014. She achieved the significant milestone of earning her WNBF bikini pro card in 2021 and continues to compete in the NPC, viewing the sport as a way to challenge her limits and strive for continuous growth. Her passion for the transformative power of lifting led her to become a certified personal trainer in 2021. As a coach, Jenna is motivated by seeing clients gain confidence through physical and mental achievements. Furthermore, she possesses a strong foundation in nutrition, holding certifications in areas such as Sports Nutrition, Weight Management, and Holistic Nutrition, which she integrates into her training approach.
As a trainer, Jenna's primary goal is to maintain her clients' motivation and excitement, utilizing her vibrant personality and humor to make even difficult workouts enjoyable. She views training as a mutual learning experience, where she gains insights from her clients just as much as they learn from her.
Get to know Jenna
Q: Do you have a favorite client story?
A: I can’t think of just one. I love that my clients aren’t just “clients.” They can text me any time to tell me funny things about their day. I've experienced life events with them; weddings, birthdays, baby showers. Seeing their victories and excitement each time is a perfect training session to me.
Q: Favorite places to travel?
A: The mountains are my favorite! I prefer anywhere out west like Utah & Colorado. I feel most relaxed in the mountains with our camper, next to a lake, surrounded by nature, with no cell phone service.
Q: What is your favorite car?
A: I love my Rubicon because I need to jump to get in; it makes me feel like a big girl. But my dream car would be a blacked out '69 Chevelle with matte black racing stripes and red interior.
