Strength: we all have it in one form or another - physical, mental, emotional - it’s there. A person’s strength can be considered the amount of pressure or force they can produce or withstand. It can also be used to describe their emotional or mental state of mind. Strength is often considered the necessary quality that helps conquer challenges and can even be the attribute to define a person’s character.


This gives a solid foundation for understanding the power of the word strength, the power of an individual’s strength, and the power that comes from a community you surround yourself with. At Fit One Four, we don’t help you find your strength, we know it’s already there. Instead, we focus our energy on helping you define your strength.


Defining something gives us a complete understanding of what it means, which then helps provide the outline that guides us to what we want. Simply put, it gives us our ‘why’. Find your ‘why’ and you will have no clearer path to your goal.

The most important aspect of Fit One Four is our community. There is great strength within our community, and without it, we have nothing. Community within the gym allows us to connect like-minded people who come from all different backgrounds but find commonality in one thing: bettering themselves.


Integrity is not an easy word to define, but we all know it when we see it. To have integrity is to do the right thing even when no one is watching, staying true to yourself, your values, and your principles. It means you are honest and transparent with others, admit when you’re wrong and check your ego at the door. Integrity has no basis in personal gain, it only seeks to facilitate honest communication for the greater good.


We’ve all heard the saying ‘when the going gets tough, the tough get going’. To possess drive is to never give up, to work hard when things seem difficult, and to remain determined no matter the obstacles in your way. A driven individual is motivated and has a hunger to achieve. Drive is a powerful attribute and a community of driven individuals is unstoppable.


We believe in the power of endurance, not only physically but mentally. We are stronger than we realize and are all capable of achieving greatness. Giving up isn’t an option; you can fail or have missteps, but you should always get back up and try again. Lean into your strength and know that you are capable of what’s in front of you. You have the ability to withstand the difficult times, and in the back of your mind, know it will all be worth it.


Actions speak louder than words. Without action, our words hold very little weight. Action allows our values to come together and be put to work. Chase your vision, do the work, and never give up. This means utilizing your skills and getting the results you’re after. No matter your ‘why’, find a way to wake up, pursue action, and get one step closer to your goals.
